Long Cardigan Sweater

It's July as I'm writing this review for the Snuggle Sac Long Cardigan Sweater. I love this item so much, it's ALMOST enough to make me wish it was winter here in Ohio. Almost! I am 5'7" and weigh 130 pounds. I ordered the small-medium, and keeping in mind that it is designed to be OVERSIZED, I am not going to complain that it fits me generously. But oh so good generously! It's very much like a big, wearable soft teddy-bear feeling blanket and for fall and winter, that's above and beyond welcome! The pockets are generous and deep. They are well-sewn, which is something I always examine. Pockets, especially for us ladies are inexplicably valued and get a lot of use. These have every appearance of craftmanship that will hold up well. In fact, the quality is there through the whole garment. That fact doesn't surprise me, because about a year ago, I got a cooling pintuck bedspread from this company, and it's going strong through laundering and daily year-round use. This company gets quality right and I trusted this cardigan would follow, and it doesn't disappoint in terms of all-around stitching, laundering (cool, light heat dry, still damp hang), and of course, comfort. The bottom front hem line comes to about 2" below my knee (I'm 5'7") and the back hem goes maybe 2.5" below the rear knee line. It is not weirdly asymmetrical like some garments are cut. The front placards/hems whatever you want to call them lay nice and flat without bunching, and the sleeves have a nice wide cuff that isn't too tight. The cuffs can be rolled or pushed up, but do understand between the softness and the bulk, they don't stay put too well when you push them up. If you really wanted them like that, you could maybe use a hair scrunchie to help them stay in place? Overall, wow yes, I recommend this cardigan, especially if you live in a 4-season climate like me. There, it's perfect for Spring, Winter and Autumn, and hey, even summer if you're going somewhere that keeps the AC blasting! If you know someone who gets cold easily, this would be a PERFECT GIFT. It even comes nicely wrapped up in a designer-look ribbon. So yeah.... like I said, (almost) bring on the cold winter weather. When it gets here, this warm cardigan will be waiting to welcome me like a soft, gentle hug and I can hardly wait!

I’ve been a fan of Snuggle Sac for a long time because their blankets are some of the softest I’ve ever owned, so when I came across this long cardigan, I couldn’t resist giving it a try. I was curious to see if they could bring that same level of comfort to clothing, and they absolutely did.

This cardigan is incredibly soft from the moment you put it on. It has that cozy, fuzzy feel without being overly thick or weighing you down. The longer length is probably my favorite feature because it adds extra warmth and makes it perfect for lounging around the house or throwing on when you’re heading out on a chilly morning or evening.

Even though it’s designed to keep you warm, it doesn’t feel heavy or restrictive. I tend to overheat pretty easily, and I was pleasantly surprised that I could wear this comfortably without feeling like I needed to take it off after a few minutes. It’s warm enough to be cozy while still feeling breathable.

The fit was exactly what I was hoping for. It has a relaxed, comfortable look without swallowing your frame, and the longer cut gives it a really flattering silhouette. The pockets are deep enough to actually be useful, which is always a bonus, and the overall construction feels well made. Nothing about it feels cheap.

One thing I do recommend is treating the fabric with a little extra care. Because it’s so plush, I’d stick to a gentle wash cycle or a mesh laundry bag and avoid washing it with rough fabrics like towels. Taking a little extra care should help keep it looking soft and fluffy.

Overall, this has quickly become one of those pieces I automatically grab whenever I want to be comfortable. It’s cozy, lightweight, stylish enough to wear out of the house, and feels like being wrapped up in one of the brand’s blankets. If you’ve enjoyed Snuggle Sac products before, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed. It’s a great-quality cardigan that feels worth the investment.

I can't wait for our weather to get a little cooler so I can wear this! The dark green is a lovely shade. I'm 5'2", 110 lbs and the S/M fit is ideal for an oversized look, coming down to about 3" below my knee. It doesn't feel as if it will fall apart, but as I said, the weather hasn't gotten to the point where I can give it some serious use yet. Snuggle Sac is a great name for the company and the product! But don't be fooled into thinking it is for home wear only. It definitely has enough style to be worn out into the world, but is soft enough to cuddle up on the couch in. The pockets are big enough to handle my larger phone.

Snuggle Sac has good quality items that are super soft and snuggly so I was excited to order this long cardigan. I ordered the Army Green in small/medium. I am 5'7" and weigh 137 lbs and it fit well except the sleeves are at least a couple of inches too short. The fabric is wonderful- textured, thick, plush and stretchy so you can wrap yourself up on a cold day. It is almost like wearing a bathrobe and I find myself looking for a belt. The color is gorgeous in person, a rich deep mossy green (it doesn't look as vibrant in my photos). The style is slightly oversized so it will not fit like a glove, it's more of a comfort thing rather than a fashion statement. It has drop shoulders and it falls right about at my knees. The pockets are a little off on the one I received, one seems like it is pulling on the fabric at the top and the other pockets shape is a little skewed on the bottom. Overall this is a great cozy snuggle up kind of long sweater that will keep you warm in the cold weather. It would make a great gift.

I have several Snuggle Sac blankets and this long cardigan is like being wrapped up in one of their cozy blankets. It’s so soft, plush, and very warm! Although it’s described as a cardigan, it also works as a winter robe. There are no buttons; it is just an open front. It has two large pockets. I ordered the size S/M. I usually wear a small and so this is somewhat oversized on me. I’m 5’2” tall and the length comes down to my middle/lower calf. It’s easy care: just machine wash and tumble dry. It also air dries well just draping it over something. Even though the material feels heavy and warm, it dries rather quickly. It’s 100% polyester, but is OEKO-TEX certified, so the content and dyes are tested for safety. It’s beautiful quality and provides soft and comforting warmth on cold days.
