Checkered Throw Blanket

This is a wonderful blanket suitable for so many places! The fabric is super soft, feeling almost weightless, but so warm! The texture of the blanket also adds to its warmth and charm - puffy like a sheep's fleece looks. The gray and cream color is quite neutral. I tend to love bright colors but this is a classic color scheme that fits anywhere. I'm 5'7" and when I curl up a little to rest it covers me very neatly from neck to past my feet. If I'm stretched out, it covers from chest to just past my feet. It's not bulky. I use it in our living room and bedroom, but it would be perfect for a dorm room, an assisted living room, etc. It's also a great size for someone in a wheelchair, and so light it wouldn't be difficult for someone with strength issues to move around on themselves. I don't think it would easily catch on things. (Can you tell I'm a big fan of this throw? )

Definitely giftable and soft and a little bit stretchy. The material feels very similar to fuzzy chenille socks, but without the solid weave on the outside that gives it thickness. Pattern and color true to the product photos. I like the ribbing around the edges. Will be curious to see how the softness, fuzziness, and elasticity stands up to multiple washes (even in cold water).
